Looking at this, I thought a lot about the most recent set excluding Final Fantasy, Tarkir Dragonstorm, and how this card fits in so well with those recently released decks and strategies
As mentioned in the Weekly MTG show, Wizards of the Coast decided to reprint split cards in the Ravnica Remastered set because it is otherwise somewhat difficult to find a place to reprint them
If you control a commander, you may choose both instead
Based on experience, six basics for a three-color deck feels low, but Im not too worried
As a Human and a Soldier, he has very relevant creature types for those decks that care about that
Sorcery speed Village Rites for three makes the black one pretty playable, but the other two I think are less exciting
